A valuable service from CAL Cargo Airlines

PRESS RELEASE

May 04, 2015: CAL Cargo Airlines has launched 'CAL VAL' for Artwork and Valuable Cargo. CAL VAL offers safe and quick transportation for artwork and valuable cargo, and is ideal for private art collectors, museum curators and auction houses, as well as specialist freight divisions dealing with valuable cargo. CAL provides a dedicated escort to monitor valuable cargo around the clock, and a personal escort may board the flight.

CAL also cooperates with leading secured transportation providers to provide armored road feeder services. CAL VAL utilizes CAL's existing infrastructure and security services, including a fleet that is parked right on the "waterline", 30 meters in front of the CAL's warehouse, temperature controlled rooms and a warehouse that is observed by CC cameras at all times.

Security is provided by CAL's dedicated security team, augmented by the external services of trained sniffing dogs. An extended insurance package is available (on request), 3rd party neutral company to monitor the operation, and CAL is also able to provide special charter services.

"Our slogan is Challenge Accepted and our entire operation is built to service this kind of non-standard cargo," said Eyal Zagagi, CEO of CAL Cargo. "We have years of experience dealing with these type of shipments and vast experience with delicate and precious artwork. We see growth in demand for this service both on our transatlantic operation and between TLV and EU which lead us to formulate our 6th product, CAL VAL. CAL VAL complements the rest of our product portfolio, including specialty products for Live animals, Dangerous goods, Pharma and perishable items, and other oversize and overweight cargo."
