IJS Global outsources time critical to CTi

PRESS RELEASE

October 31, 2014: IJS Global has signed a global strategic partnership agreement with CTi – Control Towers International to operate its worldwide Time Critical network.

Through the exclusive agreement IJS Global is launching Time Critical Solution services to the aerospace industry where time-sensitive deliveries are a vital part of the production, manufacturing and distribution cycle. CTi – headquartered in Amsterdam in The Netherlands - will manage the process through its international network.

"Our aim is very simple," states CTi's CEO Tal Haimovich. "We want to be the first choice service partner for every aerospace or airline company. Time critical services are growing in importance for companies who are managing complex worldwide logistics flows and our services are both scaleable and flexible while at the same time incorporating best-in class logistics and IT capabilities".

For companies operating an MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) business CTi offers a reliable partner through which parts can be inspected and shipped quickly to any location of their choice and all the while full transparency and traceability is maintained through its CTiX computer system. At CTi there will be one point of contact for all a customer's operational needs which means one order interface, one order reference, one consistent service level, one track and trace engine and one invoice.

"And our expertise extends even further than that," adds Haimovich. "Our Wings on-board courier network - through which we execute much of the service delivery - is like putting wings onto your priority delivery. We have unparalled coverage anywhere in the world and it's for good reason that our on-board couriers are called "Angels".

"Our Wings Angels are highly trained, screened, multi-lingual professionals who carry the right visas at all times to ensure their constant availability. They mirco-manage the entire logistics process on your behalf from door-to-door and provide total visibility 24/7, 365 through our Wings App or online tracking solutions".

Through the new strategic global partnership IJS Global's Time-Critical customers will benefit from the Wings 45 minute commitment. Within 45 minutes of a booking being made, a local Angel will be on their way to collect the shipment.

IJS Global's Time Critical services are also being extended into other vertical markets as a result of the partnership. Adds IJS Global's Head of Time Critical Services, Hielke Hager: "As companies around the world continue to lower their inventories they need a service partner they can really rely on, who specialises in their business and where time critical is not just a bolt-on part of their business, it's a vital component of it.

"With a constant measurement process and KPI monitoring our customers can be assured that the service partnership between IJS Global and CTi is truly going to meet and often exceed their actual demands", he adds.
