PRESS RELEASE

June 16, 2015: As of 1 June 2015, Skylink Handling Services, the ground handling expert of the Rhenus Group, has been selected by Lufthansa Cargo as its air cargo handler at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

Skylink won the 3-year contract because of overriding importance that Skylink is equipped with the latest technology on safety and security as well as certified to the highest standards in the air cargo business.

Both logistics experts and quality providers have one thing in common: they consider service and quality as the highest priorities. This was a decisive criteria for Lufthansa Cargo in choosing Skylink.

Frans Meerens, Sales & Marketing Manager Skylink: "We are excited to welcome Lufthansa to our current customer portfolio and look forward to a long and fruitful business relationship. This milestone is the result of sheer dedication and hard work from all employees at Skylink."

Thomas Rohrmeier, Netherlands and Luxembourg Country Manager of Lufthansa Cargo: "The move to Skylink is an important cornerstone in our long term development at Schiphol's number 2 cargo airline. Together with Skylink as dynamic and high quality partner, we intend on providing new and better services to our customers."

The Lufthansa Cargo team in Amsterdam will move into a 350 square metres office space at Skylink's premises.
