apm terminals 1May 12th was a day with strong focus on Health and Safety at APM Terminals Liberia, the country’s largest container terminal, operating in the Freeport of Monrovia, with the Health Fair organised by the company in cooperation with its medical partner Clini Lab and with the presence of the representatives of the Ministry of Health.

Aimed at increasing health awareness among the employees, the Fair allowed interested staff members get tested for BMI (Body Mass Index), haemoglobin and glucose levels, as well as blood pressure.

In addition, thanks to the coordination of Clini Lab, Ministry of Health also participated in the initiative and helped administer COVID-19 vaccines to all interested employees. Protecting its people against the pandemic has been a key focus areas for the company and a key element in maintaining undisrupted operations despite challenges.
