MARSEILLE: December 06, 2017. CMA CGM and French clothing manufacturer Kaporal Group have launched a limited edition collection called 'Shipping the Future' on behalf of aid organization Secours Populaire 13 to help its Green Santa Claus program.

KAPORAL COLLECTIONGreen Santa Claus helps children, youth, families, the elderly or the lonely celebrate the upcoming festive season in dignity.

Since 1976 Secours populaire has been offering children and families in difficulty toys, books and festive food parcels, as well as outings to restaurants, shows or sports events throughout France and beyond.

Available from December 08 via https://www.kaporal.com/en_fr/ will be a 'Shipping the Future' special collection of jeans, t-shirts, shirts and coats in support of the Green Santa Claus outreach.

General secretary of the French Secours Populaire Federation of Bouches-du-Rhône Sonia Serra said: "We would like to warmly thank Kaporal and CMA CGM for this action towards the Green Christmas Fathers. As we approach Christmas, it's a real boost and we invite everyone to participate in this operation 'Shipping the Future.'"

The collaboration between the two Marseille-based companies is the result of a discussion between Tanya Saadé Zeenny, CMA CGM deputy CEO and Laurence Paganini, CEO of the Kaporal Group. Both women are members of 'Club 20', a regional business association of companies each with an annual turnover in excess of €100 million.

"With Laurence Paganini we decided to launch this unique collection and to lead this collaboration in favor of Secours Populaire 13," said Saadé Zeenny. "Our brand Kaporal Jeans has been recognized for almost 15 years for its pioneering spirit, its disruptive communications and new collaborations, " added Paganini.
