DUBAI: October 09, 2018. RSA Global, a tech-based 3PL based in Dubai, has partnered with 3D printing pioneer Immensa Technology Labs to combine logistics with the digital inventory and virtual warehousing of spare parts.

RSA estimates up to 10 percent of all spare parts are suitable for additive manufacturing and 3D printing will eventually capture 5.0 percent of global demand – making it a US$640 billion industry.

RSANOPENINGEstablished in 2016, the Immensa 8,300 sq.ft. facility provides end-users with 3D printing for on-demand inventory production capability - substantially reducing raw material costs and lead times while enabling greater scope for production line customization.

RSA will complement the 3D process with supply chain management and distribution via its several regional partnerships that includes Orlando, Florida-based National Air Cargo.

Last month the two companies launched RSA National, a 13,000 sq.mt. multimodal transit hub at Dubai World Central as a one-stop, boutique integrator specialising in established and emerging sectors as well as niche products including perishables and dangerous goods.

“RSA Global is a home-grown brand and we have been inspired by the UAE leadership’s vision to build the aviation capital of the world,” explained RSA co-founder and CEO Abhishek Ajay Shah. “We believe the launch of RSA National’s flagship air cargo terminal is a game changer for the UAE’s aviation and logistics industry to claim the number one spot. We have designed this smart facility to deliver innovative multimodal, tech-forward supply chain solutions and plan to expand as the region’s demands grow. The sky’s the limit.”

Emirates Group chairman Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum (centre of picture) was at the opening of the new facility in his role as chairman of Dubai Airports and president of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority: “Today we are delighted to celebrate the inauguration of RSA National’s air cargo terminal at DWC,” he declared. “The RSA National air cargo terminal is an impressive and welcomed development and supports Dubai’s efforts to remain at the forefront of aviation and logistics globally.”
