“The world is getting more complex and we are at our best when we solve the most difficult logistical challenges for our customers,” declared P&O Ferrymasters Trailer director Mark Timmermans. “As part of the continuing expansion of our services across continental Europe and Asia, the extra capacity that the 150 new huckepack trailers will provide on our Poznań-Rotterdam train will bring more transparency and efficiency to our service.”

Early this year the company added a sixth weekly round trip between Poznań and Rotterdam (pictured) and expanded its logistics network into Turkey.

“One of our great competitive advantages is that we have our own platform for the exclusive benefit of our customers, enabling them to track every shipment from collection to delivery point,” added Timmermans.

P&O Ferrymasters operates integrated road, rail and sea services across 13 countries in Europe via a fleet of 5,000 trailers and containers. The company also owns a rail terminal in Oradea, Romania that moves goods to Britain from Asian countries via the Silk Road.
