SINGAPORE: July 01, 2019. Bolloré Logistics has opened its ‘Blue Hub’, a 50,000 sq.mt. automated warehouse in West Singapore to support its perfumes and cosmetics sector customers.

Bollore Blue HubThe S$100 million site features a multi-shuttle system for optimizing storage density and inventory rotation and a 43-metre conveyor producing energy savings up to 87 percent.

Blue Hub will also be home to B.Lab, a regional innovation platform to develop value-creating solutions using robotics, digital and sustainable technologies in line with Singapore’s Smart Nation initiative.

The facility is equipped with an advanced energy-management system, which uses IoT to make predictive building analyses and smart lighting decisions, plus a storm-water recycling system, energy and water consumption monitoring, a photocell sensor for harvesting daylight, a food digester for a zero-waste cafeteria and chemical-free landscape management.
