NEW YORK/AMSTERDAM: July 15, 2019. Accenture has launched AFLS Exchange, a cloud-based connectivity and collaboration platform that enables air cargo carriers to seamlessly integrate with their partner networks.

SkyTeam CargoAir France KLM Martinair Cargo (AFKLMP Cargo) is the first customer of the service developed by Accenture’s Freight and Logistics Software (AFLS) business group.

Other members of SkyTeam Cargo could join the platform in the near future. As of June 01, 2019 they include Aeroflot Cargo, Aerolineas Argentinas Cargo, Aeromexico Cargo, Alitalia Cargo, China Airlines Cargo, China Cargo Airlines, Czech Airlines Cargo, Delta Cargo, Saudia Cargo and Korean Air Cargo.

Accenture says the service enables seamless and secure transactions for route enquiry, capacity availability checks and bookings via a carrier’s existing system for simple onboarding, configuration and offboarding of partners.

“We are committed to leveraging innovative technology to transform our business, and AFLS Exchange will make integrating with our partner network simple and quick,” said Marcel de Nooijer, EVP Air France KLM Cargo. “We’re confident [it will] enable us to generate even greater value from our partnerships with other carriers.”

Ganesh Vaideeswaran, AFLS managing director said the exchange is designed to help carriers realize the full potential of their partnerships with lower costs, increased revenues and optimized freight capacity.
