His contributions as a senior advisor to multiple organizations have also been recognized with numerous deserving awards.

“This year marks the 40th anniversary of FedEx operations in China,” said Kawal Preet, Regional President, Asia Pacific, FedEx. “Thanks to Eddy’s visionary leadership, management philosophy, and commitment from the beginning, China has grown into a significant market for FedEx. I extend my sincere gratitude to Eddy for his 40 years of dedicated service, which has contributed to shaping the business landscape and paving the way for our continued growth. Poh-Yian Koh relocated to China in 1994 and has held director roles in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Beijing. In her most recent role as Vice President of China Operations, Koh strengthened the Ground and Gateway Operations while championing sustainability practices and innovation in the country. During her tenure, Koh spearheaded the company’s efforts to explore the market, shape customs procedures, and expand the FedEx network and its services.

China is critical to the FedEx global strategy. As a staunch supporter of and advocate for free trade, FedEx is committed to connecting China with the rest of the world.
